WIP update: February Lady Sweater

Jiminy, I am sure loving working on this one!

It's coming along; the gull lace pattern is easy to remember but engaging enough to keep my attention. I haven't decided how many repeats to do before doing the garter stitch edge, though ... and I haven't given a single thought to the sleeves yet!

Ok I just don't get what the pattern means about divieding for the sleave. do I put them on a wast yarn and what are the stitches? How many are there I am a bit lost at this point any help would be greatly appreciated.
