Here's a useful resource for you RSS feed junkies: a database of RSS feeds for newspapers in the US. Of the 1178 papers listed, only 85 (or 7.2%) of them have RSS feeds.
It's set up as a wiki, so if you know of RSS feeds for any papers listed there as not having one, please suggest it.
