THE TWO FACES OF ENRON: THE LINK

Following up my post of yesterday, use this link to automatically search FERC's website for the Enron trading materials posted online on March 1. Available are hours of recorded tape conversations and a host of supporting testimony prepared by the FERC trial staff.

Apparently, FERC trial staff decided to conduct a random sampling from many of the tapes, after concluding an exhaustive review would take 60 man-years of effort. That means that you, the interested reader, could uncover newsworthy quotes that might otherwise be overlooked.

Based on my own unscientific sampling done yesterday, however, a lot of the recordings are rather mundane -- of the "Hi, how are your kids doing, what do you have available to schedule for tommorrow afternoon" sort of stuff.
